First of all i know this is the Feathercoin forum but someone might be able to help me out.

Last night i lowered my withdrawal limit on Coinotron so that 6.1 LTC would go to my wallet. This morning when i checked my LTC wallet i fount that the coins were not there. Checked the address on Coinotron and noticed it wasn’t my address! I have no idea who the wallet address belongs too but there is one transaction in for 6.175 LTC.

I checked old backups to see if this is a wallet i made on an old PC but i don’t think i ever had more than one LTC wallet.

I know its a long shot but has anyone got any ideas about how i might go about retrieving them?

      The address is https://chain.so/address/LTC/LShritVnpvi9SRhHovoRxsY3sAzQrg9Gjy

I know its not a lot, but still 10 days mining for me :(

      Thanks

          Thought that might be said.

          :(

I have contacted coinotron. I am starting to wonder whether someone has changed the address fraudulently.

Easiest way is to bruteforce crack the wallet.

Yup, that might be the case…someone hacked your account and put his own address :( Are there any login logs so you could investigate if someone logged in to your account from another IP or at different time than you did?

There are logs but all recent ones are from familiar IP addresses for me. It could have happened months ago. Its my first ever LTC withdrawal from Coinotron.

I think i will just cut my loses.

Long shot, but could you have generated an address whilst running in administrator mode?
