That’s because they are busy meeting captains of industry

I can’t even bring myself to utter the words Bitcoin Found…founda…foun. That’s how little respect I have for that organisation. It’s a sham, all they do is line each others pockets with an “I’m alright Jack, pull up the ladder” attitude. Sorry I shall stop, the thought of them makes me GRRRRrrrrrrrr

Lunch break will be over soon, which brings to my mind: When, if at all, is it realistic for us to start selling Feathercoin ourselves with call options?

Before the Chain guy gets there, if he gets there at all, let me propose to modify Feathercoin blockchain so that it can accept small amounts of data uploaded by the users. Namecoin can do this, but not directly, because Namecoin only allows domain names and uploaded data have to be translated into a string of Namecoin domain names. Read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145278.0

I propose to allow upload of data to Feathercoin blockchain in an undisguised manner, with fees similar to Namecoin. This would allow Feathercoin blockchain to confirm not just transactions, but also other important facts, such as contracts. So much first part of my opinion on the algorithm change.

I think it is too late to bring this additional major change into the next fork.

We need to concentrate on the new hashing algorithm at the moment.

Nevertheless the idea sounds good, so we could implement it as part of an upcoming later change

We have Link. To be honest, bloating the bc with larger amounts of data is for another coin that would use proof of bandwidth i think.

We can embed meta data in our bc already. I think we should focus on promoting that before looking into making different uses of the bc.

Not saying it’s a bad idea, but not the right time for ftc.
