Yes, I have seen that. But like history teach us that is something that couldn’t be 100% trusted. Btc-e said that they will delist FTC few times before but they never did that. Remember December of 2013.

I would hope that the terrible English is a sign that the news feed was hacked, but given that all the coins being de-listed are around the same price, I fear that this is for real. Things are too quiet at the moment, we need another newsletter and some community action. It’s not the end of the world if it goes off BTC-e, as it means its less likely to be a speculative coin, but it does stop people from being able to access(purchase) it as easily.

We need more merchant adoption, more uses, more real world application. I don’t think FTC has any problem with inventing interesting uses or technologies for the coin, but we really need to drive commercial applications if we want to survive.

it’s not good news, being on BTC-e was always a plus point IMO, but this is far from death, we have a hell of a lot going for us.

              Short story:

              Ohai.

              Confcoin (coin neutral client) coming.

Will have initial support for CAT and FTC.

              BTC-e will reverse this decision.

              Long story:

I forked CAT (fork of LTC) and I am separating mining, gui, chain, and plugin features. Also rebooting Virtconf (Cryptocoin Policy Virtual Conference) which will be the owner of Confcoin. Virtconf is like Mozilla Foundation but without any hierarchial org structure, just proposals and documents relating to cryptocoin.

Big thx to Calem and Chris for donations and awesome chats.

We are removed… What can I say, I don’t know why. There is no real reason I can think of to explain what happened.

It is pretty much explained on btc-e, low trading volume…

It is hard for me to believe that this was the reason. If we compare other coins on coinmarketcap FTC trading volume was huge.

Anyway someone from FTC team should contact them because they locked all FTC coins and we can’t withdraw them yet.

Hmm, now I am glad I withdraw day before delistig.

So new btc-e scam is to lock extreme amount on btc-e and meanwhile pump the shit out of it at Cryptsy?

                      lol

If they have locked FTC on BTC-E start a new thread on bitcointalk about this and ask others to report if they have the same problem.

Bad publicity always helps companies speed up and do ‘The right thing’

                          People have ftc locked there?

I was under the impression they would give 30 days after delisting before pulling the ftc feature out of the system…

Only one person has said they have FTC locked there so far, everyone else has got theirs out that have tried, so don’t know if its a glitch or what yet

What was the problem is that for ppl who had FTC placed in orders was unable to withdraw. We was unable to cancel it but now it is fine. Just now I send my FTC to my wallet.

Ah well if it moves more trading away from btc-e to cryptsy its a good thing. Its a nicer platform anf has other choices to trade FTC against rather than just BTC or LTC

Theres always shapeshift.io for converting BTC->FTC. Glad I found it. I noticed quite a few markets not including FTC or it being difficult to trade.
