Hello. I guess I signed up for feathercoins forum a while a go, but never posted anything.

Just coming here to announce a multi cryptocoin payment processing system that accepts ftc, as well as 16 other coins. Will hopefully be making a post in this forum if I am allowed to (newbie status?) And hope to bring more support and features from the ftc community.

Feel free to check my username on bitcointalk or litecoin forum. Hoping to make this forum a 3ed home.

Just saying hello and also want to beg any FTC administrators to host a website that permits escrow sales for FTC fans to safely and easily buy (and sell) FTC. Thanks for listening.

                @knightfang

                Hi and welcome to FTC

Apart from I’m not a banker, the Admins to FTC are open source volunteers in their own time, and need to contribute to the core development and blockchain security as the main priorty. FTC admins are already training and asking for further members to fulfill admin tasks and spread the load of work, without any additional responsibilities…

It has been already stressful enough dealing with donations of bounties without identifying scammers and straight bully / Trolls.

Admins also finance the web site and forum, which is available to notify of any service and there has been effort to include MultiSignature facilities to make escrow easier.

The ecosystem allows any one to make services such as escrow, and we allow a forum announcement of such services. You are free to host such a site yourself.

@wrapper…thank you I will consider that. First I have to learn how. I’m very interested though and hope to be volunteering for a project like that this winter.

How can I get involved with projects?

Most Admins / Moderators are experts at something else and we trying to spread the load so they don’t have to do anything if they don’t want to.

Currently I am training / working with 2 members to forward FTC specific projects. There are 3 Admin’s with open projects as well. The highest priority being :

                    1. Release / testing/ bug fixing / enhancements of FTC Wallet
                    2. Packaging releases, for snaps, bsd, flatpack and other software building and System maintenance.
                    3. New FTC web site / finish prototype.

Other Admins, such as @Lizhi and @Wellenreiter are doing similar with other projects, most Moderators are asked to become staff because they have done a guide or helped with a patch or project.

There are a large number of other projects which members have done, from suggestions, to fully documented requirements.

There is a lot of software written for Bitcoin or other coins which can be converted or used with Feathercoin. Again there is documentation to assist, but usually, make a thread, say what your doing and ask for help.

Here is where the more FTC specific or core activities threads are :

                    http://forum.feathercoin.com/category/71/technical-development

There is usually some associated threads, like an announcement in discussion.

For a project such as you are discussing, I have mad a thread “(>> 10 Open source softwares you should know about”, which documents interesting projects associated or that could be usfull in Alternate Currency side projects. such as peer to peer markets, mesh networks, IP2, DAOs and p2p exchanges.

You can also look for other projects in old suggestions, or search the forum as many interesting developments were discuses here first.

If you become trusted on the forum you will be asked if you wish to become a moderator great “new members” in the thread : http://forum.feathercoin.com/category/22/newbies-new-members-must-start-here
