@wreylza If there’s a demand for it, why not.

@ghostlander Woo! Thanks! I don’t know if it’s the prevalence of nvidia GPUs for gaming rigs turned miners, but that’s my reason for moving away from openCL. I want to cover as many bases as possible. Also the idea would be if you’re really into mining, you’d feel that lust for megahashes and find your own miner.

Also, thanks for writing the only sanely buildable miner for linux that I’ve seen.

Version 1.0.1a of OXO is released!

          Lots of silly bugfixes.

          MAJOR speed increase.

You can clone on a VPS, checkout the version and start your server, then post!

still can only read posts tied to your pubkey.

Distro plans will have to wait until payday. I need a fresh HDD as all of mine are in use, or had convenient S.M.A.R.T. failures when I needed them most.

There are several users mining with Nvidia GPU. It’ more or less a question of Dollar per hasrate experienced. the NVidia cards use less power, so they may be more efficient overall, even with a slightly lower hashrate.

                  V1.0.2a of OXO is live!

Featuring many things, such as key passing, reading of other people’s posts once you’ve posted in a thread, a million little doodads and thingamabobs.

Next on the list is an easy day. I’ll make it so can scroll past posts you can’t read, and maybe, MAYBE, make it so you can scroll up.

                  Hey, it’s alpha.

                    V1.0.3a! OXO

I fixed all the bugs I didn’t have time to test out, such as actually reading from another ip address.

Broke everything when I uninstalled my key directory trying to test it out.

Spent the day screaming, found an interesting bug in gnupg. Turns out when you have a
key matching the values you have in your default ring, it won’t re-init your keyrings or create
anything in your non-default until you come up with a different name and email to enter.

Anyways, I’m going to go make a cake.

                    Clone and enjoy!

I set up a server at snowcrash.network if anyone wants something to point a client to.

back to linux only on snowcrash.network. Later during a time when the application is more robust, I’ll try out porting it again.

As it is, brews and porting do not mix, especially when you just try to do a quick replace and it ends up borking the whole project.

@wreylza and one last update to make the server daemonizeable. Now! On to other things.
