Nowadays you hear about ICOs (Initial coin offerings) more than the currency / block chain itself, are they just there for the sake of it, or serve a purpose?

@vigospqr an opportunistic way to raise funds. Some scams out there but some quality projects.
You can’t blame them really. It’s a quick and easy way to raise funds without any accountability.
To have a project like FTC stick around through these years with no premine, no ICO, no marketing and no funding… our FTC devs and community are a godsend.
