FTC was the first stab I ever took at mining. I thoroughly enjoy the community, and have a lot of faith in the quality of the coin, so I decided to keep focusing my mining in it’s direction, rather than working for BTC or whatever…
After reading this post, I did a little research on UFO, and found a lot of the same names/faces (obviously), and the block reward made my mouth water. HA!! I ended up pointing my miners toward the UFO network, in hopes that FTC wouldn’t consider it cheating!! I am loving the coins paid by UFO, but I can’t shake the feeling that I’m wasting valuable time and resources not mining FTC right now…ugh…decisions, decisions…
When I see things like this, it makes me wonder what this person knows that I don’t…maybe I should keep mining UFO!! That’s a lot of hashing to throw at such a low priced coin! Like I said, decisions, decisions…

As I wait for gear to be shipped to build a dedicated mining machine, I am using my office PC to run my GPUs.
I am curious as to whether it is worth using a CPU miner to maximize my resources.
This computer has an 8 core i7, so I am sure that I will get pretty decent results, but I totally understand that it will be nowhere near as efficient as my GPUs.
That being said, I just downloaded pooler-cpuminer-2.5.0 and am not having any luck. The batch file commands from my GPU miner is not working, but I’m not having much luck finding example of commands to run the CPU miner like I found when searching for my GPU ones.
First, is it even worth the wear & tear on the CPU to use it to mine?
Second, where should I start with my command file to get it going, if so…? -

I have something incorrect with my config or my batch file, obviously…I just dont know which one, and to be quite honest, I don’t know where to begin troubleshooting…

For the solo mining we’re waiting a fix into the neoscrypt.
By the way we’ll release asap a temporary wallet version to work around the issue.
