An remeber, keep AMD SDK as it is, its not worth the 0,002% more hashes the people have.
If it works for you, keep it. Youre welcome. :) Also, its handy to have an ISO around, just in case.

Well I feel asleep during the reinstall but I have completed it now aaaaannnnnddddd… Same damn problem OMG I’m gonna go insane!!!

I download cgminer, I download cgeasy, I fill in all the details into cgeasy and then I run the .bat file and it starts… Says long polling activated… I see my hashrate but there are no accepted shares, no rejected shares, only the HW field goes up… I just don’t get what I am doing wrong…

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I thought a fresh install would be the fix but seems it just doesn’t like me at all… What the hell am I doing wrong… I can’t do anything different… I have checked and double checked and checked again…

The other guy is probably not on here or just had enough of me lol… Is there anyone available to try and sort this out with me, any ideas at all for why this is happening would be great…

I get things like new block detected so I just don’t get why I am getting no shares…

Any help would be much appreciated

Right I just went and did a whole fresh install AGAIN and I’m still getting the same problem… I am using the latest AMD drivers 13.4 I believe, could that be the problem?

I am even trying reaper now and that doesn’t work either… There must be something really silly I’m doing but I am trying everything I can think of to get this going…

Think I am getting somewhere with reaper, it has started and stays on at least but now it says it can not connect and something about error code 6 cant get work or something… I’m nearly there guys I can feel it… Someone must know what the error is here…

I have checked all my login in details and tried different pools…

I have removed the http part of the URL in the conf and it is now just saying can’t connect to server and asking if it is down… Maybe it is? lol

I must be nearly there now though surely, what else can I try?

No matter what I try I just get stale shares… I have tried multiple pools and they have all registered my worker as active and it displays my hashrate but it doesn’t report even the stale shares the miner is reporting… It is really odd… Obviously I am connected to the server but there must be something else wrong… Why am I just getting stales?

I have gotten a bit further and now I am getting accepted shares, in the miner at least… But these are not reflecting on the site… Oh and the getting started page on geek says to use port 8341 but if I use that I get only stales yet the site will register the worker as active and show hashrate…

But if I use port 3333 then I get accepted shares in the miner but the pool seems to not register me… LOL…

Newer cgminer builds with default settings don’t work for some people with 7970s, myself included… I can only get decent hashrate without HW errors on 2.11.2. Try downloading that version, create a .bat file in the cgminer folder and use a simple line like this (that’s the contents of the .bat file):

                        cgminer --scrypt -o -u -p -I 13 --shaders 2048
