      Hi people,

Just want to thank the community for being so supportive on Feathercoin. I was looking at Bitcoin but entered the community a little late. It feels so much better to join a community that is still developing like Feathercoin. Would be glad if I can help in some way.

Definitely, and then you can feel like you’re part of its success! :) Anyways, welcome to the community. Hope you find it’s a place you want to stay… we’re still pretty small but we’ve been getting lots of new members daily so it looks like it’ll grow rather quick

You can help out by donating some hashing power to the coin, that’s always a good start :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ve starting mining but I don’t have a powerful GPU so my hash rate is really low. I’m getting 20kHash with my GT630.

Correct me if I’m wrong but mining isn’t just about collecting coins, but also about moving transactions along faster? So every bit helps?

Mhm, it helps. For as long as you mine coins you also identify and confirm blocks and transactions.
