tbh, forget mining whether it’s solo or for a pool. If you are soloing, your expected time to mine a block is ~6 years. :o
Pool mining will net you around 0.09 coins per day but it will cost you more than that to mine them.
If you do decide on a new rig, look us up in the mining section - there’s a wealth of info and knowledgeable people that will galdly help.
