Running out of coins?

What happens when all 84 million feathercoins have been mined? Surely mining would be unviable because you wouldn’t get anything out of it?
Also why can’t there just be unlimited coins?

Once mining is completed–miners will make transaction fees from well any transactions of feathercoins.
Know of a marketplace that doesnt have feathercoins as payment currently–there is a ltter you can send them in this forum. if you can not locate, let me know who and i will be happy to send for you. -

It is very interesting indeed. BTW when is last FTC expected?? I know it is far future, but we can discuss it :)
