\[ANN\] Please Welcome Pyxis as the New Member Manager

Pyxis has an interesting role at Feathercoin many of you might not realize. Every morning I wake up, I go to a research board where Pyxis and his teammates put together summaries for me on what’s happening with different cryptos around the community. Instead of me spending 45 minutes rummaging through the different sites, these guys put together summaries that they feel need our immediate attention.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I’ve begun to rely on these reports each morning. If that wasn’t enough, Pyxis decided he wanted to contribute more to the Feathercoin team. One area we needed assistance is centered around new users. While we do a great job saying hello to new members, I feel we can do better helping them get familiar with the community. Also, there’s quite a few members with 0 posts that might need a gentle nudge to join us in our participation based community. Here’s Pyxis’s primary responsibilities:
- Say hi to all new members in the newbie forum while also directing resources
- Anyone that’s currently online with 0 posts, Pyxis will drop a quick PM to see if they need assistance
- Send out a PM to all new members with a summary of what’s happening and how to get involved
- Encourage members to fill out the Feathercoin app and get involved in the community
- Be that central contact as they get familiar with the site
If we find the position needs additional resources, we’ll start moving over more members to assist. I’m so happy Pyxis in this position, new members are the lifeblood to keep a community expanding.
