I’m awaiting my new board with 4 PCI-E slots and then I can setup my second miner :-)
Currently hashing at 600Kh and trying to get to +2Mhash ASAP

I’m hoping a friend of mine can take some cards from china
He himself got 2 GTX690’s for 400 Euro instead of the Belgian market prices of 2000 Euro for 2
I’ve inquired about the 7950/7970 and 7990.
If prices are good i’m willing to invest up to 1K extra in the project.

Sounds very good, although those GTX690s won’t be of much use to you for mining. Not nearly as good as any ‘cheaper’ ATi card that is. :P
It’d be best to grab yourself some 7950s, you’ll most likely get 4 of those for under €1000 but I’d wager the 7990s will be round the €1000 mark each still. x3 -

I’m only AMD basedBut if the prices are the same ratio as the GTX I might be able to pick up some cheap 7990’s ;-)

Best of luck to you Armandoke, I do hope you can get some 7990s… But just as an FYI, 2x 7950 can beat a 7990 in mining and are a lot cheaper too. :P -
I also take into account the resale value + 4*7990 in one rig is easier to monitor than 2 rigs with 8 * 7950

Well, I guess 7990s do have more resale ‘value’ but, honestly, I’m expecting 79xx GPUs to drop by at least half their value in a years time. So I might grab them then. Or grab ones when people disassemble rigs. xD

I’d grab 2 or 4 7950s if I had the money…
To be honest… With the amount of rigs I DO have lying around I could buy, power and mine with…
4+2+2+3+2 = 13 GPUs
I have the ability to mine with 13 GPUs if I had the money. xD -
