Haha, welcome to the forums klenker, and yes, it was just as simple as leaving a post in the Newbie forum to get your account ‘activated’ (per say) for posting in the rest of the threads.

If you’ve any questions, no matter how silly they might be, just fire away. There’s always a community member or two, or three, or ten, or fifty, or ---- willing to help out!

Well for me it was hard to figure out why i cannot post. I think new members should get some notification.

No, not always. The captcha (and obligatory first post in the Newbie forum) is to keep out bots / spam bots IMHO.

Edit: I’m sure the captcha disappears after 10 or so posts.
