Hello to the feathercoin community!

I’ve been following the cryptocoin movement since Bitcoin’s first announcement and honestly at first I was intrigued. Several months later I decided it wasn’t worth my time and I abandoned the idea as viable until recently I noticed thepiratebay started accepting donations in Bitcoin and that piqued my interest again. Then I noticed they started taking donations in Litecoin and that really got me interested in investing in this technology so I did some research on building an efficient Litecoin mining rig and I came across CryptoBadgers page. I pretty much followed his guide to the letter and made a few adjustments. A few weeks later I had my first Litecoin mining rig and I was so excited.

Well Litecoins were already pretty saturated as the difficulty level was already a bit high and as much as the community embraced Litecoin and as I still do, I needed to find a “lighter” alternative. I searched and researched many coin alternatives and stumbled across Feathercoin. While the difficulty level was low and the coins were easy to mine I still had some intrepidation on investing watts to mine this coin until I started Reading about Peter Bushnell.

I’ve worked in the restaurant business for nearly 2 decades and have always been a gamer geek and technology enthusiast (read computer nerd) and one thing working in a restaurant has taught me is THE MOST important aspect of a successful establishment is the strength of its management. Peter loved mining Litecoins so much and as a business aspect he sees potential for more brands as I do. We have many brands of credit cards and they all do the same things essentially but they are all tailored to different aspects of the community as they have different perks. Now I would add every coin as a gimmick should have a perk attached but perks and gimmicks are only there to entice you, you want the real meat and potatoes and that’s where I think Mr. Bushnell’s philosophy and strong leadership is going to take feathercoin and that makes me strongly bullish on not only this coin but the future of all crypto currency as success for the whole technology relies on this trust and infrastructure.

I still currently only have one tiny mining rig, haha, but I’ll do my part as a member of the hashing network, feel free to toss me a coin if this has inspired you. I could always use another cooling fan or extension cable or something. :)

Hey, welcome! I only joined a few days ago. Ive been mining LTC for over a year now and FTC for a few months, it is def the way forward!

I’m full in with FTC now and thinking about dumping my LTC in too! I’m that positive about the whole situation.

I only run 4 rigs but if you do need any help or advise i will be more than happy to help.

              Cheers

              Bob
