I noticed this…

      https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_alternative_cryptocurrencies

FTC is not even listed but it has pxc. We need to get this edited with FTC on the major list. Let’s get this rolling.

Page was last modified on 7 July 2013, wonder why FTC wasn’t included.

Why do we care? There is a Wikipedia article on Feathercoin which is ranked the 2nd in Google just after our official site.

We have discussed it already. Bitcoin.it requires a donation to become an editor. Anyone who cares enough may go ahead and do the job.

Sure… maybe a trusted member would like to setup mini-donations? Like you said, in the end, it matters about who cares and how much.

That wiki refers to bitcointalk forum topic.

I think this forum thread is more important to have correct info. Many newbies (like me) find information about altcoins from there (ftc was listed as a candidate, when I found it). And also if that wiki refers to forum, then wiki will be updated according the forum thread. It seems, wiki has not been updated in a long time…

I find it irrational to give them coins of any amount in order to receive right to contribute to their site.

I hear you, I’m just pointing out that those that feel passionate enough about it, might want to chip in a few bucks. If not, plenty of other projects that could definitely use support. No shortage of work around here. :)
