From my experience in software development, their butts are already very toasty…

I wouldn’t mind seeing something / anything posted about it. Or maybe I am missing something.

And boom, there is something http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=3039.0

Ooh, good find. I did see the Coindesk article earlier in the week, but the post leading up to it I missed and I noticed a new post dated aug 8th. New activity is good, a tidbit on progress. I think the main idea here is to keep the interest up so the devs don’t lose interest. We want it, and if you build it… Lets hope it turns out to be more than a dream.

          :)

Tellingly enough, that post has been deleted.

I am not happy about that. Wes promptly left recently and deleted a fair few of his posts before leaving.

Wouldn’t be the first time a project dissolves and won’t be the last. I was noticing trouble in phenixcoin land also. I farmed them for a day just for kicks, and noticed the difficulty dropping quickly.

The good thing is there are many projects in the pipeline being worked in parallel. If some fail, which will happen, let it go and stay focused on the prize. Advanced checkpointing is huge, at least for FTC and things will evolve I think for this merger in ways we can’t predict.

My Mom is fond of saying “Man plans, god laughs.”. I still see a bright future. :)

When it’s released, Feather will be invited to use the system. Until then, talking about something we have no power over seems like a waste of resources at this time. It’s Phenix’s system, nobody here can move it along any quicker. I wish we could, we just can’t.

Meanwhile, if you’ve read my massive update, we could be working with an existing merchant system as we speak:

So UNOCS didn’t evolve like I envisioned, I took responsibility for that. With the sheer amount of time, money and overall effort to build this community from just a few people in the messageboards, hopefully we can shake hands and call it even. :)

That would be fine if the public perception hadn’t been completely raped by a ill planned launch marketing campaign making all these promises. The damage done to the perception of the brand is not something that and amount of hand waving can repair, and there is no breaking even on the massive opportunity that has been squandered.

This site is a payment processor like a small version of Bitpay for alt-coins and it supports FTC.

                      https://www.coinpayments.net

So people can have web payments with FTC using their service.

It’s a great service too. Easy to use, and easy to integrate.
