New Community Leader - ChrisJ

Everybody please take a moment to welcome ChrisJ into his new role of community Leader. He is a long time supporter of Feathercoin as you know, who has helped us get to where we are today.
Chris will be taking on the community leader role as we start getting very busy. With ACP we can improve the difficulty swing for loyal miners. UKMark has almost finished preparing his SMS wallet and continues his work on a Feathercoin Point-of-Sale system. We are soon to appear on several new exchanges, some of which are a big deal and we will soon see a FTC/USD currency pair.
This is a very good time for Feathercoin :)

Hey friends,
Thanks so much. This is a real privilege, I only came on here once to say ‘hi’ and then I totally got sucked in to the wonderful spirit that pervades this space and I am very grateful to every single one of you who help make that a reality.
I have said it before but it bears repeating that the most important feature of any crypto-currency is its community. Bitcoin did a good job of laying out the blueprint for how to establish a crypto-currency in absence of crypto-currencies, the opportunity now is to do the hard work that nobody else wants to do, namely work out how to bootstrap a crypto-currency once the technology is well understood an vulnerabilities are known to would be attackers.
It’s a big responsibility but there is no other team of people more qualified than us to help make that happen and to redefine the meaning of money.
As far as I am concerned we are all leaders now. I hope I will continue to inspire your trust and you will keep brining up your ideas and visions for the future. I listen very carefully to all of you and take every single thing you say to heart.

That’s what I love with great grass roots communities, people are willing to step up and volunteer their time to assisting others. Much respect ChrisJ, looking forward to seeing the next step w/ Feathercoin!
