Feathercoin Progress Report

Hello friends,

I just wanted to update you all on where we are and what is coming next.

We have come a long way since our humble beginnings back in April. We didn’t wait for permission we just went out there and got on with it. We got a lot right and learned a lot of things along the way and now that we have made some important improvements to the code and Justabit and Wes have moved on I thought now is as good a time as any to take a step back and look at how we can improve on the way things are organised and renew our commitment to the future.

[b]Forum reorganisation[/b]

Right now @Bushstar, @Nutnut, @svennand and I are looking at reorganising the forum to make it easier to navigate. I remember Wesphily did a survey of changes but can’t seem to find it again, if anyone has a record of what was said or a link please send it over and we will take it all in to consideration.

[b]Open Democracy[/b]
It is also my intention to make it easier for you to have your say on Feathercoin both technically in terms of features and all things related to the community. I have noticed after the last few months that some people often feel as though their voices are being unheard. I want to make sure that everyone is listened to and give all of you the same opportunity to take charge, I would like to foster an entrepreneurial spirit around here so that people feel enabled to get their ideas off the ground and are given all the support they need.

[b]Projects[/b]
Ruth and I are busy working on the Oxford meetup this Saturday, there will also be a video of the event made available afterwards which it turns out requires a lot of preparation :/

@UKMark and @Nutnut are making good progress with their projects and I will be assisting them with making some announcements on their progress and hopefully there will be something for everybody to enjoy.
