Do you guys think all the coins are gone from Vircurex? This could really effect the standings of all the coins :/ Opinions?

I was just reading on bitcoin forums that Vircurex were to return all the coins out of their own pocket…

Apparently only a small portion was in the ‘hot wallets’. The actual loss should be enough for the exchange to cover.

Not a very promising start but, kudos for them going to repay out of their own pocket. I think it just shows we all need to be vigilant. >.<

I’m glad I moved all of my stuff out of Vircurex. I did log in after the hack to change my password. I’ll stick with BTC-e for the time being. I don’t like to leave my coins on exchanges for very long, anyhow.

I’ve traded on Vircurex after the hack, but I never leave coins in the exchange, I deposit, trade and withdraw so they would not have stolen any of my coins anyway. I think that’s a safer approach to any exchange.
