Good news. The Feathercoin market is back with a major improvements and many bug fixes. Most noticeable is the built-in escrow system which in my mind makes the market work.
The escrow holds the funds from the buyer until the goods have been received. Once you buy an item you send the funds to the escrow address on the screen. The seller can see that payment has been sent and can send the goods. Once done the buyer can mark the item as received and the funds will be released. So the escrow is protecting buyers, right? That’s very good, excellent!
What about sellers protection?
What if buyer receive and take the goods and will say he didn’t received anything… -

[/quote]My plan as a seller to protect myself is to take a photo before packaging, after packaging and of the package with postage attached with address clearly seen, and keep receipts from post office. Any shipping service within US/Canada also offers tracking, which I will be using. I think once you’ve proven your due diligence as a seller, you should have rights to the funds and be open to negotiating in case the product is replaceable.
I’d recommend sellers of one-of-a-kind and high price items ask for and pay for shipping insurance if available.

[/quote]If the buyer says they did not receive anything that does not mean that they get an immediate refund. Both parties will be consulted on any disputes and a resolution will be found.

I agree with Monster, if you are the selling party then keep as much proof as you can for sending the time, ask at the post office estimated time of delivery, get it tracked etc.

Lets populate the Market Place, sure all of us have unwanted / no longer needed items around the house, I have some shoes which I’ve already put up, I have more too and I have some dresses which will go up soon.
I’ve also nagged my sisters for things too, which I’ll be putting on the Market as soon as they are in my possession :)
