hi i am hoping you can help a newbie. i am currently mining bitcoin with asic, can feathercoin be mined will asic. if not could i use cpu/gpu . is there a set up guide.

Hi and welcome.
No you can not mine ftc (scrypt coin) with a sic equipment.

thanks guys for the help, might take me a bit to get up and running i have to swap my asic setup to another computer first and make it all work again lol, should be fun. i will only be starting off cpu mining to start with to test the water then i will get some proper graphics cards.

so i bought some cards to start mining, then after fitting and having my power supply scream at me i have found out i need a more powerful one :) but i did drop some cash on the exhange and buy some ftc for now so its not all bad.
