Hi everyone. I’m just a beginner playing with crypto currencies, and thought I would try Feathercoin to get in early with basic GPU mining. Still trying to work things out. I like how the Feathercoin wallet includes a miner! Not too happy with my Hps on my office computer but maybe my home laptop will have better results.

Can’t wait to learn more. Are there other Feathercoin mining software options out there? For BTC I love the simplicity of Bitminter, if I’m allowed to say that here. I can edit it if not.

Sure you’re allowed to mention bitminter lol I wouldn’t see why not. As for mining… I am using cgminer with a gpu i had lying around. The last cgminer version to support GPUs is 3.7.2. After that version cgminer is ASIC-only afaik.

For CPU using I’m using… cpuminer. It gets the job done ;)

For a pool I have always thought give-me-coins.com has been a very nice one. It solves blocks fairly quickly, but really, the aesthetics are just so nice.
