Coin bashing

Don’t know where to post; but there seems a conflict with Gamecoin blockchain. I guess it won’t affect us?

I don’t think we should ban the coin bashing, but move explicitly abusive threads to off-topic.
I can be a troll as much as anybody, I just see so many opportunities here I’m too busy to troll.

+1 on the code of conduct, it will make life much easier for Mods to shutdown trolling and flamewars and keep this a positive forum. Good work Justy and Bushy.

make an own “off-topic” for people wanting to complain/bash on coins, also make that “topic” not count in the number of post created by user.
That way no one will become a “higher” member just because they love trolling :o -

[/quote]If we bash alt coins it will bring down the trust in all alt coins including FTC. If people go from one forum to another and all they see on every forum is people bashing alt coins there will be no trust in any alt coins. If they go to a community where only the blatantly bad alt coins are bashed then it will make sense to trust that community and what it has to say.

The bottom line, we have no competition on the direction we’re heading. There are other similar products, but they don’t have this combination of community… it’s just not there. I wish all coins the best of luck, I’ll make sure to pop open a bottle of $7 champagne in celebration for all our successes. Cheers.

I thought Litecoin had a good community behind it as well.

[/quote]Agreed, but they don’t have all you fine people in this exact configuration. :) Litecoin had quite a few challenges up front, they pulled together as a community and broke away from the pack. I have no doubt we’re heading for our own type of break-out.

I agree with this. If you don’t set a standard there are no expectations for people.
