Question about mining rig conception

Hello,
I am running a mining rig with 4 Gigabyte R797TO-3GD with a small overclock (1050 gpu and 1450 mem).
I use a Enermax Maxrevo EMR1500EGT 88 plus to power my rig.I have burned :
- a connector on the PSU side (cable replaced)
- a connector on the GPU side (cable replaced)
The cable I have replaced were supplying the same card. I think the card may pump too much power on that cable.
May be my riser is defective.
May be I ask too much to the PSU. ???What do you think about it?
What can I do to secure my rig and ensure it will work and won’t burn?Regards
