As you can see, this is my first post, and I am brand new to Feathercoin!
I have been mining BTC and LTC for a while now.
I know for a fact that my BTC and LTC wallets are working right now.Something is up with the network…
If you haven’t noticed the trend of issues that sprung up at once…
I can confirm that the ports are forwarded and such. (UpnP and Manual Forwarding)
FTC Debug.log: UPnP Port Mapping successful.
Router System Log:
Left it running all day long waiting with no luck.
As said above, other wallets are working, except for FTC.
(Using latest Wallet version on Windows 7 x64, disabled all firewalls, tried the neighbors wifi, nothing is working.)And here is a part of the debug.log that may be somewhat helpful.

Hope I helped.

Are you using the standard 0.6.4.4 client?
Can you open a debug console and type getpeerinfo?
you can then type help, which shows other useful commands - Let me know what you find and i’ll look back to see if I can help.
2 of those supports were the same person. + Feathercoin is an open project, so at the moment it relies on people (like yourself) getting involved. Many hands make light work.
Personally, I am busy testing multiple new beta clients and 0.6.4.4 and am not experiencing any connection problems. The hash rate is actually high and there are twice the number of miners on p2pool as last week.
The only other possibility is you need to add a node to get going. Another thing to try is to use the command line option -rescan when starting the client and this will recreate the Blockchain database index.

I have also problem with last 20h. I cant synch with samsung note, galaxy S3.
On computer - working perfectly, but i dont use wallet on PC…how to sync on tab/phone?:)
I need to send money and have no idea how to do it now…

Just did getpeerinfo in the console, and just got ‘[]’ ()
Annnd I just did -rescan, but that did nothing different, still says 0 active connections to FTC network.
(Blockchain isn’t downloading at all)It seems to be getting some sort of info from somewhere though, not sure…

I had a friend with this issue, he was running old version. See my thread about people not knowing what the new version is or having a hard time finding the download on the main page. I’m not sure why it has not been addressed. There really should be a sticky on the forum under “Feathercoin” linking everyone to the latest version. But there’s not. So this continues to happen.
I also think the download link needs to be more prominent on the download page instead of having to scroll down to find it under the video.
Try deleting the blk****.dat files and restarting the client.
Hmm, though I just downloaded it today for the first time and never got a chance to download the blockchain at all.
The only file is blk0001.dat, which is 1 KB. Just deleted that, restarted… annnd nothing. :/

I was having the same issue since downloading the wallet earlier this week. I had no issues syncing on my tablet/android but my win7x64 desktop just would not sync.
I tried everything suggested in the forum, but what did work for me and which may sound ridiculous, was just running the ftc client as an admin. (right clicking client file and running as administrator) After I had done this within minutes it was synced.
Coincidence? I don’t know… but hey worth a shot!

I’m having the same problem. Tried everything mentioned above, and uninstalled & reinstalled. No sync, zero connections.
All other wallets (btc, ltc, trc) sync fine.

The syncing “problem” is finding the first Feathercoin node, to start the p2peer network. As Bitcoin and Litecoin have slightly larger networks, they now sync quicker. One solution I have found, if someone has a problem is to PM them a current addnode for the debug console.
LTC and BTC use the same Bitcoin protocol. It has not been a specific problem with Feathercoin, so far.
