Is this possible? Is there a better way?

I ask only because there use to be a message on Cryptsy saying not to transfer BTC a certain way and I can’t find that msg (due to the slowness of the site) in a timely fashion.

I always add my wallet as interstep. But there is no reason why this should not work…

I think the notice told you not to use the cryptsy address as a payout address for mining, such as P2Pool mining, as they were unable to credit mined coins.

I usually transfer from Cryptsy to btc-e, but I dont recall doing it that way, in the end of the day its one address sending to another, as long as you have access to the addresses on both ends its fine.

            Dito what spynappels says above.

I dont use my wallet in between as it slows the whole transfer down, but when I did it the first time I sent a test amount.
