Hi I backed a project for an nfc ring they made an announcement that you would be able to use it for bitcoin payments (think it gets your address through a app android only apple dont support nfc yet give them 3 or 4 years then they will be like look what we have invented as usual! But anyway will this also work with feathercoin aswell?

It could potentially but unless the project specifically included FTC I doubt it will out of the box. What is the project. I think feathercoin would really benefit from being able to pay via NFC.

        Also…

hi this is it, it was a kickstarter project http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mclear/nfc-ring/posts/674743?ref=activity the way I look at it is very simple (like me) with things like nfc stickers there is an app to programme which details or apps to put on the sticker so as far as that goes all it should take is an official wallet (ette) as it wouldnt be your main wallet just a secondary wallet that you could put a few coins in for trades while your away from your pc or if physical feathercoin payments take off then maybe to make a physical payment but anyway as long as the wallet (ette) allowed secure nfc capabilities it should work with the ring and make ftc a better bet for anybody looking to get into crypto currency! like I say ts just a thought

Sounds great and with the recent changes in the rules surrounding This could be huge.

There is already a feathercoin androind wallet application so adding support for NFC is a great option. There is already support for QR code scanning

I think that nfc capability would be great say theres a group of you who all mine they would be able to lend each other money while out and about and then other mates will start to feel left out encouraging others to mine and enlarge the community or like me my pc isnt capable of mining but I still buy ftc
