FTC-QT out of sync on mac

hello everyone
i am glad that i joined this wonderful community, i tried to start the feathercoin wallet and each time it’s out of sync :'(
anyone got the same issue, anyone have an idea on how to resolve it ?
by the way can i do mining without the FTC client (wallet) ? if yes any good web wallet such as coinbase?
