I am really sorry you lost money but I am also confused by some of the amounts of bitcoin on the list of people scammed. Some people had 90, 82, 71, and 59 BTC? That seems like a huge amount to leave on a pool. some lost nearly 100K dollars. Is there any reason someone would leave so many BTC on a pool?

Oh I have no idea, I didn’t have much. I am more angry how low can some people be cheating others like that and started this thread just to inform anyone who may not be aware of stuff like this.
I had left a few accumulate there but I have no idea how anyone can leave that much.

        Sorry about your loss.

I had to drop out of a pool myself this week after testing it for a few days. Only 10% of the shares I submitted were being credited after 48 hours.

Always check your results against the pools. Cash out quick when first joining to test payment system. Increase payout amount as your trust builds with the pool.
        [/quote]

please inform what pool it was so that people can steer clear from it

          +1

who in their right mind leave such values on a pool?
guess some people feel safer when they dont have to protect their own wallet…

Honestly, most people turn in to anonymous cheating thief’s when they’re online in their shady room.

The temptation for many people will always be there. People unfortunately just let greed overcome them. Looks like this is what happened with the Sheep Marketplace heist recently.
