Today my 5970 cards finally arrived

I cant wait to get the rest of the components and start mining. I will be doing about 2200 khs on this rig when its done
They are so big they wont even fit the case for my old miner

Best of luck! I’m a newbie but I’d recommend you use an open air rig / milk crate or something so they can breath.

[/quote]Meh, any time I search on ebay for them they’re “parts only” or so.I’ll stick to hunting down cards locally. Benefit of a college town.

Okey. i was lucky and get them for $600. But if you buy them local i think its easy to get them cheap because not every one know it is good for mining
