Which server set-up is more efficient/profitable for mining, the typical stratum server with each computer set-up with several cards or the proxy server with all rigs directed towards the one server then out to mining server? Or is there any difference? I have been working with both, but not sure which way is more efficient. Thank you

It makes very little difference, but technically the single proxy is superior, because it reduces the amount of internet traffic that has to go outside the local network. You’re maybe saving a couple of milliseconds at on your block refresh rate when a new one arrives, which will result in less stales… over several years you might notice a slight difference.

I have run the proxy server twice and both times it has shut down and lost connection over night. Message saying ‘stream pool timed out’. Thank you
