Mining Help for Beginners

Hi Tuck!
I hope this finds you well.
I’m a beginner and was hoping to see if you could help me with the mining set-up on a mac?
I have a 3.2 GHz intell core i5 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB is this sufficient for mining?How do I get the info that I need for the Wallet i.e. Port, Sever, Threads? I’m assuming I pick the password and username? :)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To answer your question, view my original post and as you’ll see, I’m not the guy to be asking any questions about mining. ;)
I mean, I mine and I do well for my rig … but my rig is an ancient beast from 2007 with just an upgraded Radeon. :-\

[/quote]Joining a pool and reading their “Getting Started” or whatever How-To guide they have will almost always show you the exact string you need to put into your batch file to mine with cgminer or whatever miner you need to use for that card.
