As some of you will of been aware, myself and some of the other members are donating coins to new members (1 FTC each).

You simply need to be a Jr Member upwards, with +1 rep and need to add yourself to the Feathercoin map. To put yourself on the Feathercoin map go here:

The whole process is totally open and transparent. Anyone who is interested is free to check the wallet transactions using the Feathercoin Exploror. The only transactions the wallet has been used for is the donations entering it and all the 1 FTC payouts leaving it.

Feel free to give out coins on the forum, there is no rule against that. However please do not do so on the requirement that people have 20 posts. This helps promotes people spamming without real content, we have been down this road before and do not want to return to it.

It would be good if you included a Feathercoin Explorer link to the wallet address you are using, to aid transparency, so it is clear and obvious that all the donations which you have received are being sent out to members one at a time.
It’s great to hand out coins, and it’s even better to do so in the most transparent and open way possible!

I have taken your inputs onboard and have made a few adjustments to the posting:
* I have now removed any mention of a minimum amount of posts that are required to be eligible for the offer
Hopefully this will reduce the risk of unnecessary posts or spamming for the purpose of obtaining a coin
* I have included a message that the wallet address can be checked using Feathercoin Exploror
Hopefully this will aid in transparency and make it clear that all is being done in good faith
Additionally I realised that I had my private wallet address in my signature, like so many others do, I did this when I joined and was setting up my profile. I have got rid of it in case anyone thinks that I am trying to gain personally in any way or it causes confusion about were to send donations for the offer

I am a newbie and I have already sign up for local.bitcoin. Now i’m just missing the 1 rep which hopefully i’ll be able to achieve some time soon, at which point i’ll come back to edit this post updating my eligibility for the offer :)

im going to continue on reading on this forum as i would like to start cpu mining for FTC …have been doing it for LTC, but FTC seems to be the one i want to support as much as i can. maybe after doing the reading i can help someone on here and get that much needed +1 rep ;)
im sure ill run into link soon, but if anyone knows of a thread discussing mining FTC for windows (in a pool)…id be very interested… ive been using coinotron.com and ltminer for ltc, is there a tutorial on how to do it for ftc? should i be using coinotron?
