        A lot of success!

Are you sure your trying to use it for the right thing? What are you trying to monitor with it?

BAMT (Big A Miner Thing) is a miner that can be run from a USB key, I know there are hacks that can make it monitor multi-rig setups but it’s original intention was to run as a mining platform not as a monitoring platform.

More information can be found [url=https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2924.0]here[/url]

I managed to get it setup and mining in about 20 mins if you take out the time taken to write the image to the USB key. I’m about 1/2 way through writing a simple guide, with the usual screen grabs for setting this up, but a friend of mine has just given me another challenge to work on that hopefully will bring more value to the feather 8)

If your stuck setting it up for it’s original per pose start a thread in the mining section of the forum and I’ll offer help and assistance where I can and time permitting.

*edit as I can’t write bbcode tonight*

Thank you, husband has done all of those things per the directions and threads, but can’t get it to burn to usb. He’s trying another software now. The mining is new, but we have been in the computer business for about 20yr now, but this can be frustrating. Thank you for quick answer earlier. Link is helpful.

What are you using to try and write the USB? Windows,Mac, other?

I’ll try my best to get the guide written up tomorrow so you can have a read, but it’s not looking hopeful as I’ve just had a call about some “real” work :'(

Using win 7 64-bit, and the win32 software. He did get the SMOS-Linux1.2-2gb to burn to usb, but gets message ‘no live media’ and then freezes on smoke and flames. The litecoin version, as in the link, cannot get to burn. Having to reformat usb between each attempt. Thank you for assist. Understand ‘work’
