Hi, I’m brand new to mining and have a rig set up with 4 decent GPUs running at 72 degrees but I’m only maintaining 560 Kh/s. My setup is as follows…

System:
Mobo: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5 GHz
RAM: Ripjaws 16GB DDR3-1600
P/S: CoolerMaster Silent Pro Gold 1200W
GPU: 4X Radeon 7950HD
Software Versions:
Driver: 13.9
SDK: 2.7
CGMiner: 3.1.0

Any help or suggestions would be awesome, thanks.

color 02
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
C:\_bitCoin\cgminer-3.1.0-windows\cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.wemineftc.com:4444 -u USERID.1 -p PASS -I 20 -w 256 --thread-

concurrency 15236 --gpu-powertune 20 --auto-fan

Now for some reason GPU 0 is running almost 20 Kh/s less than the other cards.

Get yourself over here and have a look at what other people are using for there cards.

You need to be looking at setting the gpu engine and mem clock numbers within your command line before you get much further, you will find a “scrypt” read me in the cgminer directory, do just that read it and follow the instructions carefully.

Set I=13 when doing your tuning and get the best number you can from it, then you have the option to turn it up to get it really running the Kh/s up

My personal opinion, but if your not using this for anything else whilst it’s mining consider BAMT on a stick, lets you turn a load of the on-board stuff SATA, Sound, USB3 off and save a little energy, also means your not running a HHD again more power savings.

Give us a shout if you need anymore advice

Hi and welcome to Feathercoin.

You need to post mining questions in the Mining section for the best response.
