I started FeatherCoin mining out of fun and it is never intended to be profitable personally… but still, it’s cool to see the price rising gradually over time. :P

Okay I’ll start the ball rolling…

-MSI 1x R9 280x (OC)
-ASUS 7950 (OC)
I will be adding another PowerColor R9 280x as soon as I got those PCIe riser cable from eBay. As the GPUs were cooking each other with the compact space in there.

Software setting:
CGminer: -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 13192 --temp-target 60 --auto-fan
ATI OverDriveâ„¢: Memory overclocked by 10%

I had to set the temperature target of 60 due to the overheating issue and to balance out the noise produced.

The fans are usually around 70%, and temperature of 70~75C at this setting. (Room temperature = 18C ~ 30C)

Right on man! Its a good feeling!

I find that I’m always more interested in the physical set up of the rig, and how your set up brings benefits like ease of working/upgrading, heat dissipation, dust prevention, whatever. Hope to see a parade of machines
