Scrypt ASIC Miner in 2014

So it is bound to happen. What will the creation of Litecoin/Scrypt ASICs do to FTC? Will this completely wipe out individual miners next year and skyrocket the coin potentially?

Chances are that it will happen similarly as it did to BTC. There were a couple coins to take measures against this from happening. Quark was a combination of scrypt/sha256 and currently Prime only uses CPU (i believe)
