Bitcoin just reached the 1k mark on Mt.Gox and 0.9k on BTC-e! The past day it had been climbing a hill slow and steady, and one big jump in the past hour or so.

What’s your thought on this? A pump before the next incoming drop or result of the last week news (no big negatives and some quite positives)?

It’s very unpredictable but I think it may touch $2000 by the end of April. I can only imagine the positive news will outweigh the negatives over the coming months.

It will reach $1200 again very soon, but it might fluctuate there. China’s news boost it up to $1220, I wonder what will boost it up to $1500. My guess will be Wallstreet. As Pryderi stated, I also believe it will be around ~ $2k April. I just hope no bad news will come. It is time that FTC jumps beyond $2. I feel that FTC is stagnating…

FTC has done very well. It’s already up 300% from it’s current resistance. It’s also shown an independence from BTC value recently which is VERY good news. The price has not dropped since BTC’s recent climb, there’s more going on than the currencies underlying trade value.

So far the price of Bitcoin on China is at the same height as BTC-e which is 100 under Mt.Gox, so not sure if it’s really Chine who’s booming (or did they switch from BTC China to Mt.Gox? Not sure if that’s possible on the freedom of interwebs there).

Over the past 2 weeks it has been the ONLY coin that has been stable (which brought us to prison on BTC-e, aaah), which I actually find positive at these current high’s and low’s.

It’s funny how the FTC and BTC relates. It seems somewhat unique. I’m still pondering it, but maybe it’s the FTC’s volume that makes it react more mildly to BTC fluctuations. What I’m looking at though, is stability, which has been somewhat unnatural to cryptos. Maybe it’s just that it’s not actively traded that much. Why? No one’s expecting alot from it? But then there are not huge dumps either. People aren’t in a hurry to get rid of it?

FTC is relatively new, so it would be more disturbing if it has a price of alt’s which are 5 times as old. But I think you’re right, since there’s a lot of sell orders, about a tenfold, it won’t fluctuate that quickly.
