The next feature I’d like to see Feathercoin implement would be to rid BTC-e from the picture some how. ;)

I second that motion.

Agree. I would actually like it if nobody looked to the markets when valuing their coins. Bitcoin gave us a chance to turn things around, re-conceptualize. It’s not how good the technology is, it’s more about how you want to use technology that will define it in the end.

Bitcoin
Litecoin
Feathercoin
Peercoin
Not really necessary to be in that order.

I tried to get into Ron Paul coin yesterday. After one day of mining with a promise of 4 coins/day … I ended up with .25 coins and it’s only getting worse today.

I’m not sure if it’s the pool I’m on (seemed like the best I could find) or their current mining issue (our old mining issue). RPC is going for over $20 on CoinedUp, so I thought I’d give it a shot. So far, I’m not impressed.

Well I just checked all BTC pairs on cryptsy in search for some promising shitcoins (yes all, it took me several hours) and it seems like 70% of all alts are very low compared to last pump.
I am going to pick up some with bigest % lost compared to previous pump (I marked last pump top price and actuall price).
Lets see how this strategy pays off…

The “winners” are: ZET, NRB, GLX, FST, ELC, CAP all of those valued less than 4% of previous pump top value.
Theory: if I divide my money into those coins and only 1 get the pump like before, the rest can die and I will still be in nice profit :)

I still need to look at orderbooks and study some basics about those coinz, but i like this idea…

EDIT:
ELC is out it was already pumped!! Damm… >:( >:( >:(

I hope we can get FTC to stand out and flourish somehow to avoid depreciating further and/or dying off.

What sucks is when you realize (for now) 1,000,000 DOGE won’t buy you a pack of cigarettes in most places. :-\

I’m mining my way up to a Snickers bar hopefully.

yeah =] It was higher a while back but the multipools and pump and dumps brought it down a little. Its neck and neck with feathercoin in total marketcap.

So what’re you all thinking of 42?

Just bought a chunk at 990 BTC per coin for a good fraction of a coin and dove out at 1480 BTC.

I’m a happy, happy critter right now. Going to actually eat some food this evening to celebrate.

Some new coin with a total supply of 42 coins.

I never try to jump on trains like that. Too risky.
