No mining button?

I am new to mining. I have never done it before and this is my first time. I have done some research on this before though. I see on tutorials and stuff that on the wallet there is a “Mining” button on the toolbar but it’s not there for me. I just see “Overview | Send | Receive | Transactions | Addresses”.
Can anyone please help me out here?

The button has been deleted. It was there before, but got to set it up by ourselves now.

mont, download GUIminer SCRYPT. Not the plain old GUIminer.

The tutorial was made for Litecoin, but all of the coin pools are the same, essentially. You could create an account on give-me-coins.com where you can mine well for Feathercoin.
(The kid in the video is pretty ridiculou - but for what it’s worth, that’s the tutorial that got me up and running originally)

…if you have any computer experience at all skip GUI miner and use cgminer 3.7.2 or older. If you follow the read me guide for scrypt its really simple.
