Just noticed we’re up to 28GH/s - haven’t seen it so high ever. Is this a new record or was I just living under a rock.

That is a new high, for sure.

It seems that a lot of hashing power is put to Feathercoin.

A new block every 28 seconds.

Probably related to the Dogecoin “halvening”. It fell like a rock down the list at coinwarz, not nearly as profitable until it’s price goes up. As a result I’m sure every other of the top 20-30 coins are absorbing those that skip around.

Hmm, it will be very interesting to see how DOGE will fare after the block halving.

              Down to ~3 ghashes/sec again.

It looks like a very large hopping pool hit the feathers

With a low of 2GH/s yesterday. May the pools be with us! ^-^

Yes, but it takes time for the difficulty to get down, and as soon as it is down, the pools will come back :(

This doesn’t seem good for the coin to me. A low of 2GH/s would mean that this is our floor when considering the mining of FTC. Something has got to change.
