I like it, maybe I could add “Endorsed by the Feathercoin Community” to the certificates? ;D

I totally trust netnerd, however until you get round the issue of him having seen the Private keys, I’m not sure this is sensible. Hope you understand that NN. :)

do not worry I have managed to get a working proto DIY private key concealment system. I will be producing them this week in time for the Oxford Blue meetup, if all goes well I will also be producing just the DIY concealment for sale on their own so they can be fixed to the back of the plain coins I sell :D

That’s excellent news. My concern is for you as much as any of the end users. If anything went wrong, even if it wasn’t your fault, it would be the first place people would start pointing fingers.

Yes I am fully aware of the trust/risk issues with producing pre-assembled cold storage wallets, I certainly don’t want to get caught up with anything like that. The reason it has taken so long to get a working DIY version is because, I have had so much work going on with my normal job I just have been unable to use machines for development, and also I have been making it as fool proof as possible,as the original pre-assembled design needed a bit of skill to put it together and finish the edge, but I am very happy with my working prototype, the only skill involved is in the printing, cutting and sticking of the QR codes, which I am in the process of putting a guide together for :)
