My p2pool is running normally. >:D That is not too many connections .

There are 3 connections in wallet, 1 miner connect p2pool.

Hi all, How is Pheonixcoin getting on with the change? I have got 6 Cores dedicated to mining Neoscrypt and i have mined over 1000PXC in 5 days.

All seems to be working OK but i’m unsure of its effect on value / community.

Is there any reason we have to wait for an efficient GPU miner before changing FTC to Neo?

Just worried there is a scary amount of Scrypt ASIC out there at the moment and i know of a few people with over 10000Mh of Scrypt, couldnt they do a lot of damage to FTC if they wanted?

          Thanks

Work is continuing on a daily basis on the GPU miner, once it is ready we can switch over fairly quickly, the consensus is we don’t want to switch until the GPU miner is ready for release, but hopefully that won’t be too far away.

What are you pulling out of the six core? Can you tell what cpu model that is exactly

              thanks

Yeah sure, im using a Dual Quad core Server and using 6 of the 8 CPUs to mine (other 2 are idle)

Can’t wait to see my GPU’s at work, love to test the GPU client for you and give feed back, PM me.

Oh forgot to mention that I see a better hash rate with the CPU miner if I leave a core or 2 unused by the client.

This was tested on my laptop Intel 2670QM, the 980x 6 core 12 th and the SR2 12 core 24 th all produced

better k/hash per core if a core or two was left free. Not sure if that is something that needs addressed,

but thought I’d mention it to get feed back from others and if there seeing the same thing?

For those that may not know you can use 2>> logPXC.txt at the end of the command line for the CPU client

and all client text will be placed in a Text file within the folder where the client is installed. Makes for easy finding

of blocks found “test on windows client” by using notepad to open the text file then under edit click on find, type in

yay and hit enter key, if you have found a block it will take you right to it, then you can use next to move forward and

see the next in line that was found.

                          minerd.exe --no-gbt -a neoscrypt -R 10 -o 192.168.1.107:9554 -O phoenixcoinpc:x --threads 20 2>> logPXC.txt

                            Bump: Wake up! Everyone… ^-^

Set my i7 2670 QM back up today with the CPU miner working 6 of 8 threads.

                            12.31 khash/s (yay!!!) 1st of two blocks found start time: 15:27 found at 18:32 2nd block at 19:45 12.22 khash/s (yay!!!)

                            :-* :)

RW-Everything and ThrottleStop are a must for this laptop to control fan speed and CPU multiplier to keep tempertures in check.

Asus G74Sx… Would love to see the Nvidia Geforce GTX 560m at work as well… This was while playing Total Domination online

so no problems doing normal every day use things while mining Phoenixcoin. Come get you some!

@daimyo: that ‘hash > target’ if comming from the pool

@Lizhi: avehre is working on the adaption of gpuminer to support pools. Currently cuminer supports stratum and longpoll on pools, gpuminer only supports longpoll

A new version of p2pool is available.

The problem should be fixed for GPUminer

Great work - cpuminer now workd great with stratum on p2pool.

I’m going to reset up the latest miners (cpuminer-neoscript, AMD cgminer, Cuda miner) a GPU PC -

Is there a guide to which is the latest downloads? with compile instructions.

I’ve got a couple of R9 270s I was going to reset up for the change over and a HD 6970’s I can test.

++ Is there anything else to help with / test - before the update is released - e.g. Other types of pool? or exchanges?

That depends what graphics cards do you have? It looks like the r9 280x gets around 100khs.
