I’m messing about doing some updates to “Listen to Bitcoin” to run it on Feathercoin API. If you haven’t seen that.

I’m looking to get a domain soon to host a couple of fun things.Like the p2pool.

Are they actual real time feathercoin transactions then?

At the moment the bubbles are still showing Bitcoin transactions. I’ve changed the background and tidied up the index page. I’ve removed the link to MT Gox API.

I’ve started to look into whether the Feathercoin API has enough functionality (to give the transaction details). Or if I need to clone the Litecoin API and host that

I’ve studied the general structure of the rest of the code and how it works. I’ve also done a bit of preliminary code breakage to get a feel of what needs doing and set up preliminary programming environments.

I’ve done a few hours preliminary work on possible sets of (better) musical extra instruments and “tunes”, with a musician / producer friend of mine.

I’m very limited how much I can do, but I’ve been interested to have a look at porting this application, and a few other projects that no one else has done yet. This is just a bit of fun to learn about some of the technology, and have an application to host on my p2pool site. I’ll just keep chipping at it when I can.

Also, I don’t mind adding anyone to the project, so with a couple of helpers the project would go quicker. It looks relatively easy, even if the API has to be extended, that’s mostly donkey work porting stuff.

Looks really good its really nice to be able to see the network like this rather than it be in the abstract. Great work!

                Great :)

                the sounds are nice.

Are the values really in BTC, or do you need to adapt that?

                  Yes

The values are in BTC - They have their own Bitcoin Font as well, which might need to be replaced with an icon.

I’ve started to look where the calls are in the web pages, API code and what is required, also the Litecoin API for “Listen to Litecoin”. I haven’t worked out if the calls could be made to the current FTC API at Feathercoin.com yet.

I’ve said I’d help with the pay by SMS project. Primarily handling the donations from a crowd sourcing project. So, that’ll mean progress from me will slower on Listen 2 Feathercoin. I’ve set up a Dev project tho’.
