We have a report from sl1982 that email activation might be problematic:

      Thanks.

Just to give a bit of further information on the issue i had.

Set up my account with my normal address of [email protected]. No matter what i did i would not get an activation email. Somehow I found an activation page that would let me change the email to a gmail one and then it sent fine.

Another note: My first email is pop3 that has no spam filter so that shouldnt be a problem.

My email is hosted by the ISP Teksavvy in canada. And yes I checked my webmail as well.

                [quote name=“wesphily” post=“6844” timestamp=“1369609130”]
pppoe.ca reverses to 206.248.154.84 with an additional record of 206.248.154.58
Neither IP reverses back to pppoe.ca

This means that some mail servers will reject the message thinking that it is not originating from the owner of the domain. This may be the first place that you have experienced this but it will not be the only. I would suggest using your google account for future registrations or, request a reverse dns entry for pppoe.ca

It’s true, but this is only the case if he wants to send an email. He has issues receiving the activation email from this forum.
