      Hello,

can someone (maybe Wellenreiter) explain how the p2pools work (e.g. p2pool.neoscrypt.de:19327)?

So my question is, there is this “Global pool rate”, and I guess this is the rate of all connected such p2pools hashing together, since the total feathercoin hashing rate should be higher.

Now, if a block is found, are the coins distributed to all the people hashing at those p2pools? That is, if p2pool.neoscrypt.de has a hashing rate of one fourth of all such pools, then 20 FTCs are distributed to the people hashing at p2pool.neoscrypt.de?

      Thanks.

      Regards,

      cu

        To update the list:

Http://multicoin.eu is based in The Netherlands and hosted by me.
Poolfee is 1% but probably will lower it to 0,5% next week.

Ive got you on there. Cheers!

Hi no only miners on your p2pool node get a share of any blocks found. :)

Http://multicoin.eu lowered the pool fee to 0.5%

I’ve updated the p2pool software and everything is working okay by now.
Had some problems with connecting to other peers, all fixed now.

                          Hello,

is it normal that I see the mined coins with 24h delay in the block explorer??? That is, the p2pools tell me, that we are at block ~448004 at 08:44 am german time. However, the block explorer only lists the entries to block ~446815, so there is a difference of around 2000 block.

                          Regards,

                          cu

                            Cheers for that info Curiosity81,

I noted feathercoin Stats was down yesterday, I informed Bush, and I assume he will fix that ASAP.

Sounds like the same glitch on the server has stopped feathercoind, which is also used for the explorer. Again, most of the information you require is available from the wallet console commands (if urgent)

Someone needs to tell coinotron to calm down on their hashrates a bit… theyre kinda getting every other block and ~50% of the network hashrate, a bit greedy!

We have to work more with them. That pool is pretty good. In fact it was my first pool where I started with LTC mining (for 3 days, than I switched to FTC lol).

Plenty of room over at: https://ftc.hashpersec.com/

Kind of lonely there, could use some company. :)

Please use “neoscrypt” for the algorithm. Thanks for pointing this out.

I think those are the generic setup instructions with MPOS, I’ll poke around and see if I can change it to specify neoscrypt. The port and everything else is correct though, stratum 3333.
