      Throwing my support behind FTC, off to make a deposit today at lunch. painfully difficult to buy FTC in Canada, using cavirtex.
      Wish I could use paypal…

            about $75 CAD I guess into btc first, then convert to FTC and lose whatever in fees.
            Not sure about cavirtex yet, so not spending a lot in this initial purchase until I can ‘trust’ cavirtex.

              You and every currency exchange. The problem is charge back. If you can easy buy some currency with paypal then just charge back what you just paid, then you have the currency AND your own money. This rip off is common enough. Small shops get hit with it constantly where people buy stuff from them with stolen credentials and then sell the goods on Ebay.

              Unless PayPal offers immutable transfers, this will not change. Ever.

                ya, I can understand, I’ve had a ebay scammer try to chargeback of two over my many years using paypal.
