Action item - get FTC to Poloniex

FTC always was traded mostly on one exchange. First it was btc-e, than Cryptsy. Now the only good exchange left is bittrex. Please help to add FTC on Poloniex, so there are at least 2 choices.

I agree with Mirrax, there should be more exchanges, but remember, most “people” who will read the post are not forum members and will pick it up the information from searches, not reading the forum directly.
That’s going to be a longer, more subtle process than the old “swarms”.
Most member in the forum currently (like you) are already doing a lot to support the FTC infrastructure, forum and programming, not necessary able or want to trade, just at the moment.
The new forum is gradually gaining traction and bringing members back, so the thread is important, to highlight to members to help get FTC on to exchanges, when they can …

I’ve done this a few times in the past. I don’t think we will ever get on there. Their rules state only coins with unique genesis block :broken_heart:

Poloniex reviews coin submissions and makes decisions based on several criteria. Where applicable, a coin must have:
A block explorer :smile:
A website :smile:
A unique genesis block :rage:
A compiled wallet :smile: -
Is there anything we can do to waive this requirement on the genesis block?

Maybe someone should start their own FTC -> all other coins exchange…with FTC as the primary currency. USD and GBP should be added as well.
