      @SimonTower Anybody? I think the “commission” is the minimum fee, but I don’t know that “secp256k1” version. “new”, “old” or “no”?

          @SimonTower - Amazing work!

          I tried to add FTC for free at YoBit. I thought the min commission might be something to do with PoS instead of PoW

          Secp256k1 ver is something I think some coins use.

            @tmetaphysical said in Feathercoin to new exchanges:

            @aciddude Lets ask Kraken, Coinbase, and BTC-e what functionalities would create support for FTC !

            Anyone have direct viable contacts ?

            FTC used to be listed on BTC ages ago…and actually if you have an account and check your wallets page they still have (or used to) have their FTC daemon running, you could send FTC to BTC and it would show up in your wallet…you cant get it out without contacting their support and that can take ages…

            There are a lot on conflicting opinions on the listing at btc-e. I think it was mainly because of their decimal places but that exchange isn’t exactly known for it’s “clarity” or “openness”

            I think on-boarding users to the coin now that “Bitcoin” as a term is becoming more popular / understandable / heard-of might also be a way of getting listed as we’d have a louder “voice” to contact the exchanges.

              Any investor here who could sacrifice ~3BTC for the goal? For C-cex, Yobit and Livecoin. After that we could report that to coinmarketcap to add to the market list. That would be the “cheapest” and fastest evolve for FTC I think.

              edit: Where are You @lizhi ? We need Jubi! :D

                @aciddude agreed, Talking with a few companies now for Atm machines, getting them in the market and driving the demand is what is going to make appeal for exchanges. There is no forward movement right now except talk… Actions are louder than words, thats what the primary exchanges are going to look for, movement=commissions(fees=profits)

                  As old BTC-e FTC trader I see nothing special about this exchange. Russian jurisdiction just like Chinese means that you never can be sure about the decisions of their government (to be true… like any other also…).
                  Sometime ago I have also proposed to enter other exchanges, but we have 3 exchanges today and with current market cap and interest in FTC it seems enough. Actually only one where you can trade, others just for occasional buy or sell.

                    Hello all! I support new exchanges but ones like yobit and so looks very scammy to me. Also I think that to achieve “mass adoption” we need easy tools to te average joe, something like https://fairtoearth.com/ is doing with his coin. nfc cards to pay in commerces… apps for mobiles… web´s pannels… are really nice stuff that can help to increase the use adoption of a coin and not just buy/sell in exchanges. becouse the coins who will win are the ones that will have real uses more than trade…

                      I just had a look at the Jubi New coin application form. It’s very formal, just like any Chinese application form. Every coin is treated as if it was a formal business case. Things like, user count, active users, QQ forum, Wechat forum.

                      Also, development plans for the next year.

                      Not all of that stuff is mandatory, but it probably requires an admin contact and an e-mail address or telephone number.

                        yes lets add ftc to every shit exchange and spread an already low liquidity :rowboat: (though i am not against adding it to quality exchanges that could add to the user base).
